Russell Richardson are thrilled to have been shortlisted for two local business awards for their environmental commitment and excellence in corporate, social and environmental responsibility.

The Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards takes place on Friday 13th October at Magna, where Russell Richardson will find out if they are winners of the Enzygo Environmental Commitment Award at the glitzy ceremony.

On December 7th, Russell Richardson will join the other Sheffield Business Awards finalists at Ponds Forge where they will find out if they have been successful in winning the Excellence in Corporate, Social and Environmental Responsibility award category.

“We started as a paper recycling company in 1978 so environmental responsibility is something we’ve been taking seriously over 39 years,” said Jonathan Richardson, managing director at Russell Richardson. “To receive this recognition as we approach our 40th year in the recycling industry is a great end to what has already been a fantastic year for us. We’re shortlisted along with some other very reputable companies from the region so would like to wish all the finalists, in all categories, the best of luck.”
