For those of you with hard drives to dispose of, you may not be aware that the hard drive does not need to be removed from the PC before destruction. The entire box can be shredded! That's right, your old PC's can go straight into the shredder. All the innards (hard drive, motherboard, dvd drive) are completely destroyed and then the various metals are extracted for recycling.
